Erase Google Password History

Don't Pay For Any Program That Claims To Erase Your History Until You See This

Auto-complete on web pages – can I erase the ‘history’ of those?

My son searched for something on google and now when I use the first 3 letters of the same word, but for something else, HIS word flashes up on-screen! I don’t want to be staring at that BUT also, I don’t want to erase all the other auto-complete info such as email signing in/passwords that are auto-completed. I am using Vista and Firefox on this PC and some of these ‘words-that-grannies-shouldn’t-read’ even appear when I do a search on a genealogy website because a name was included in his search I suppose. Teenage sons eh?! any help would be gratefully received.

When the box appears with the autocomplete suggestion you can highlight one by using the arrow keys and then get rid of it by pressing Delete. This doesn’t always work but is useful some of the time when you want to get rid of misspellings etc. Sometimes if that doesn’t work Ctrl+Del does.
